Online Counselling with Caroline Bronte

Image showing someone doing online counsellingOnline Counselling works in the same way as face to face counselling. It is still a process that uses the safety of a special kind of relationship to enable people to reach more of their own personal resources to deal with life. A relationship between counsellor and client can still be reached via online sessions as it is the same as having a face to face conversation with somebody in your own home. It is still private and 100% confidential. Everyone possesses an ability to become more self-aware and to find solutions to their own problems. However, there are times when we need support to achieve this. Online counselling will give you this opportunity.

How does online counselling work?

image showing how online therapy works Firstly, you will need to have an online assessment session. This will last for 30-40 minutes and gives you the opportunity to see if you feel comfortable enough to talk to me openly and honestly. It also gives you the opportunity to discuss the issues that you are facing or are causing you pain or what is having control of your life. This also provides me the counsellor the opportunity to assess your situation, discuss the best type of therapy for your needs and how many sessions I think you might need. If you then decide to book sessions, I will book you in, and send you a link by email for you to click on and you will automatically be able to join the meeting at that time and day that you have chosen.

How will online counselling help me?

Online counselling offers a way for you to look at and work through issues that trouble you in life. By working online with individuals in a supportive way, together we can create a unique opportunity to move, appropriately, towards a more fulfilling life. Sometimes the counsellor might need to send you worksheets to help support your change, this can still be given to you by the counsellor by sending you worksheets via email. These can be done in your session before your session or after your session, whatever is agreed, but you will have those invaluable resources to use. It can be difficult to let go of old behaviour’s, patterns and ways of thinking. Online counselling offers you a space that is non-threatening and non-judgmental where you will be valued and given space to find new ways of living.54545, Caroline Bronte Online counselling is not about being told how to live, online counselling is about choosing to enter into a process that is aimed at helping you get the most from life, being free from emotional pain and learning to live the best life you can with what you have. I work as an integrative online counsellor and face to face counsellor, which means I try and understand people from a variety of perspectives. Sometimes the past impacts our present experience of life, alongside our current relationships and situations. Through exploring your issues with me, we can gain insight into how our past has shaped us and how our current circumstances can be lived in more fruitful ways; this creates a bespoke service that is driven by you. Within this I am always seeking the best possible ways of helping people, forming a creative space in which the sense of self can be seen with empathy and individuals can find ways to understand themselves better and develop new ways that bring about change
