What is Life Coaching? How Can You Help?
Life coaching in simple terms is a process of helping people get from where they are now and where they want or need to get to.
Personal coaching is a process which is designed and defined in a relationship agreement between a client and a coach. It is based on the client’s expressed interests, goals and objectives
A professional coach may use inquiry, reflection, requests and discussion to help clients identify personal and/or business and/or relationship goals, and develop action plans intended to achieve those goals. The client takes action, and the coach may assist, but never leads or does more than the client.
What I Offer
My coaching style is very versatile and flexible, to suit you. I believe there is no one size fits all approach to coaching, so I can incorporate different therapies into an approach tailored for you. I also understand many people have busy lifestyles, so my coaching is tailored to fit around you; with the amount of time you have in mind.
I am a very empathetic person, and have been told I put clients at ease, also inspiring them to want to achieve positive change. I am very passionate and enthusiastic about personal change and achieving potential.

I specialise in helping people achieve their goals and dreams and believe it’s necessary to have different tools to be able to do this, as well as the ability as a person to understand client needs and formulate an action plan which is personalised for YOU.

What Life Coaching is not?
A coach cannot go out and improve your life for you, but a coach will help you to decide to act.
Professional coaching is not counselling, therapy or consulting. Psychological intervention and business analysis are outside the scope of their work. These different skill sets and approaches to change may be supplementary skills and professions to aid coaching but they are not what Life Coaching is about. Life coaching draws inspiration from disciplines including sociology, psychology, positive adult development, career counselling, mentoring and other types of counselling.

With Life Coaching, you learn how to produce results quicker than other types of costly training. Learning how to recognise and use specific exercises to change bad, unhealthy or traumatic fears, phobias or habits within you or others will help to reshape minds, keeping them fitter and healthier for life in the 21st century.
How does Coaching work?
When you first contact my services, we will discuss over the phone, Skype or by email what you would like to achieve from life coaching. If after this you would like to be assessed for life coaching, we will agree a time and location for your initial assessment.
The initial assessment session is an assessment that will take 30 minutes. This time is spent talking through in more detail what you hope to achieve from life coaching. I will take information to help me understand your circumstances or specific situation and we will think through how we can best work together. Following this, if you feel we can work together, we will then agree to meet on a regular basis with booked appointments.
Life coaching sessions are 60 minutes long and ideally should take place at the same time and same day each week. I recommend that if, at the end of your first session, you decide to continue with regular life coaching, you will be offered 3 initial sessions, after that you and I will review the situation, but you can opt to finish life coaching at any time.
My Commitment to You will be:
- To listen to you, accept you for who you are and be honest with you.
- View the life coaching session as your space and allow you to choose whatever you want to discuss. I will never tell you what you should and shouldn’t be doing or judge you.
- I will not have all the answers to your problems but believe that with my support you can find your own solutions to whatever it is that you to change or achieve.
- Everything discussed will be totally 100% confidential.
